Approach to Our Work

Our approach to real estate development seeks to balance vision with practicality.  We work in a collaborative fashion with property owners, community leaders, and project stakeholders to develop fresh perspectives and creative solutions designed to result in positive change that is financially feasible and sustainable.

Our team is comprised of highly-experienced industry veterans, each playing a critical role in delivering high-quality, successful projects.  Their experience enables them to provide keen insight into real estate decision-making processes that are designed to identify opportunities, guide strategic investments, and result in impactful, sustainable real estate development projects.

KIM SATZGER, Principal

Kim has worked for and with both the public and private sectors, where she developed public funding/financing strategies, managed pre-development and entitlement processes, implemented stakeholder outreach efforts, and coordinated development for commercial real estate uses. Her experience includes the cleanup and redevelopment of more than 455 acres of property in southwestern Ohio, management of nearly $1 billion public revenue bond financings on behalf of public sector entities, and successful received (on behalf of clients) more than $125 million in local, state, and federal assistance, including loans, grants, and incentives.

Jonathan S. Wood, Advisor

Jon brings more than 25 years of real estate experience in a collection of capacities including finance and capital markets, intermediation, and ground-up development.   In recent years, in addition to his capital procurement activities, Jon has led site selection, land assemblage and acquisition, zoning and entitlement, and design/development across significant multi-family and mixed-used development projects totaling $450 million and comprising over 2,000 units and 60,000 sf of commercial space. Jon has been responsible for the development and capitalization of more than $2 billion in national, multifamily properties totaling in excess of 20,000 units.  

BRAD BROWN, Advisor

Brad brings more than 25 years of site selection, finance, construction, property management, lease-up, and asset management experience in support of mixed-use and multi-family residential projects. His track record includes the development and management of 18 student housing properties in 11 states; and the management of a portfolio that consisted of approximately 30,000 units in 350 locations – primarily in 12 states of the Eastern U.S.
